Which documents required to be furnished along with the application for water connection?

• Copy of the allotment order of plot/shed/shop issued by MIDC.
• Copy of the possession receipt of the above plot/shed/shop issued by MIDC.
• True copy of the letter, along with one set of approved building plan by Competent Authority.
• Copy of the letter granting extension of time limit if stipulated period of completion of building is expired.
• The location map in triplicate showing the position of plot/shed/shop and arrangements in respect of tapping point on MIDC pipeline.
• Consent letter / no objection certificate (NOC) from Maharashtra Pollution Control Board in case of pollution generating unit.
• Copy of SSI Registration / Industrial License.
• Copy of the constitution of the firm.

• Security deposit, equal to water charges for consumption of water for 90 days at the prevailing water rate.
• Connection Charges.
• Road crossing charges if any.

• Two tested water meters of required sizes with one as standby for connection having a size of 20 mm and above should be kept ready.
• In respect of water connection having a size of 15 mm, manufacturer’s test Certificate is acceptable.
• One copy of the Agreement form should be affixed with special adhesive stamp of Rs.20/’ which is available at General Stamp Office, District Treasury Officer of the District. After affixing the special adhesive stamp, each page of the Agreement should be signed and rubber stamp may be put below the signature. The Agreement form is available with the concerned office of MIDC at a cost of Rs. 50/- only.
• If there is a crossing of MIDC road for laying water supply line from connection point to the plot, prior permission for the crossing of road should be obtained from the Deputy Engineer in charge of the Area, by payment of normal fees.
